I am going to have to try this "mix" on my Leos. I have four of them. Two are very
healthy and happy, and the other two I rescued from a lady who bought them for her
little son who lost interest in them a couple days after purchase. They were not kept
at the right temperature, and they allowed their four cats to lurk around the cage all
the time. Needless to say, they came to me very stressed and extremely skinny from
not eating. They have been with me for about 3 weeks now, and they are both doing
quite well. I will particulary try the baby food with them as they still need to gain
a little more weight.

<< Hi
The mix of baby food I use is chicken, veggies and apricot and peach. 1 jar
of each. I mix it all together and then divide it into portions and freeze.
When defrosted and at room temp I add the liquid calcium and some liquid
Reptisol. The original formula was for a very ill baby bearded that we were
given. When I was presented with a sick almost dead leo I tried it in
desperation and it recovered. When the first articles came out about R.
ciliatus they used a baby food mixture that was similar to what I used for
emergencies and that is when I started adding the second jar of fruit. The
beardies and Leo's love it They also eat crickets etc.
