Jim, I attached a pic of 2 unrelated clutches of eggs. The female that laid
the larger eggs had a couple of previous clutches where she only laid one
egg, respectively. Those eggs were even larger and she did have difficulty
laying the first one.
FWIW, I use a hovabator for incubation. I notice a slight drop in the night
incubation temperatures in the hovabator as the ambient temperature in the
room is cooler when the extra lights are off.
