Tarentola should be "Moorish Gecko".
There is a small, Indo -Pacific gecko commonly called Mourning Gecko. These
little guys are all females and breed quite well. I have 4 right now and
numerous eggs. I keep them at room temperatures with 3/4" PVC tubes in the
cage. They eat crickets and baby food. The latin on the ones I am talking
about is Lepidodactylus lugubris. There is another all female Indo-Pacific
gecko, called "Indo-PAcific gecko", these are Hemidactylus garnoti. There is
a woman on this listserv that has Mourinng geckoes like you can't imagine. A
picture of L. lugubris can be seen at www.uroplatus.com under the Gekkoninae
subfamily photo gallery.
Take care,
Daniel
