I tend to let nature run my breeding programs. When winter comes, I let the gex cool 
off. 60F should not really damage any gex, and should help them. When the temps go 
back up in the spring, they become more active. At some point if your room does not 
warm up to a good P. pictus temp, approx, 85 - 88F,  I would use some artificial means 
to do so.
