P. standingi are not a species I've ever kept as more than pairs. Keep a
close eye on them if you attempt to keep them as 1.2. I keep 1.1
breeders in tall 20 or 25 gallon tanks (I wouldn't try 3 adult animals
in a tank that size, though). Frankly I've often thought of putting them
in taller cages with more screen (maybe two side glass, 2 sides screen).
I've usually removed eggs to an 80F incubator (hatch in 9-10 weeks), but
this past year I left them in situ and let them hatch out with the
parents. They were very cute! It worked well with one group, until there
were 5 babies in with the parents. Then, one of the oldest babies
started getting beat up some so I pulled the larger babies out. In the
other tank, everything was fine until one baby hatched. A few weeks
later I noticed the remaining 5 eggs were gone! I don't think I'll leave
eggs in with that pair again!
