Hi,

Just an added note, the $20 shipping Lyle quoted was for OVERNIGHT shipping, I paid $18 for overnight shipping for 2,000 crix.  Normal weather shipping rates using the US Postal Service are usually 1/4 of the prices quoted above!!

A VERY IMPORTANT NOTE REGARDING OVERNIGHT SHIPPING with carriers like Airborne, FedEx, UPS, etc...  If you will not be at home to receive the crix for overnight shipping then you must request that they be held at the carrier's office for your pickup, otherwise they will deposit them on your doorstep and they will freeze and die!!!  I know that this appears obvious but I just thought that I'd mention it!!

This past week I had crix sent overnight and I was at home to receive them.  The *#*#ing idiots from Airborne deposited them on a side porch at my house, DID NOT KNOCK OR RING THE DOORBELL and drove off.  Luckily I discovered them within hours of their arrival - they were not moving when I opened the boxes!!  I brought them inside and they thawed and lived.  I was lucky!!!  I have given the folks at Airborne a piece of my mind about dropping boxes marked FRAGILE, LIVE CRICKETS off in FREEZING temps and not even bothering to knock.  Incompetence is everywhere!!!  Thanks for letting me vent...

I think they are all having problems with the weather, for real. I have had
the same experience lately. I would suggest having your shipments overnight
express mailed. Southern Croicket Wholesale has a new carrier. They are now
using airborne. It cut the shipping price from $30 something to $20
something for me.
