Hey gang,
My Leopard Gecko doesn't seem to come out when I turn off the light at 8pm.
I am usually up and about for another few hours, so there is some light and
some noise in the room. I wonder if that's why she doesn't come out.
Anyways, I would like to cut out the light problem possibility. They sell
colored plastic sheets known as 'gels' at the hardware store. They're used
for theatrical lighting. Tomorrow I'm going to buy the darkest red I can
get and clip it to the outside sides of Roxy's tank. They'll probably help
keep heat inside too. I guess I got this idea from the guy who filmed his
fat-tailed gecko at night. This should cut out most of the stray visible
light.
