[Gecko] Gecko health problem

Hi there,  I have a friend who has a leopard gecko who has been losing
weight for some time.  The gecko now seems to be blind and not eating at
all.  My friend has separated her from the others and is trying to hand feed
but with little success.  Any suggestions for supplements/veterinary advice
(we have very few herp vets in this area of the UK? or tips for feeding
would be very much appreciated.
