I have noticed this with Phelsuma laticauda laticauda.  It appears some
hatchlings get calcium sacks at 2-3 weeks of age.  I am pretty sure the ones
with the sacks will be females.  I try to reduce supplements once I see this
because it may be over supplementation.  I have one I am holding back that
developed these sacks, time will tell what sex it is.  Right now, ventral
examination produced no pores or bulges, but it is half grown.
