Okay I sort have the opposite problem of most folks. I need to kill some
crickets. I have a large plated lizard (Gerrhosaurus, I know, not a
gecko...) in a BIG natural vivarium. Some enterprising crickets have
managed to set up a stable culture in there, b/c every 2-3 months, I get
adults chirping away in there. This is a problem, as the tank is right
next to my bed! I can't sleep with the darned crickets. So the question
is:
Is there a safe way to (chemically?) remove the crickets from the setup,
or do I have to do a complete cage cleanout (NOT a trivial matter)?
