I'm not understanding this one.  I guess maybe the gist is to let babies eat 
more and get a little ahead of the game.  Don't know much about 
phantasticus.  Don't know much about the French I took.  But I thought that 
lizards (pardon me for the generalization) didn't eat until they shed 
anyway.  In any case, my gut feeling (and probably the babies' too) is that 
cooling thermoregulating animals like lizards is not the best idea, and 
maybe a good invitation for a cold.

Of course, let me add the caveat that I have no experience breeding 
_anything_ and little experience with geckos limited to Roxy, my juvie 
leopard gecko.  So basically I'm talking through my hat, and if anyone else 
has experience which contradicts my idea, best listen to them.

Set me straight!
