I heard something similar from a breeder; he indicated that the problem was due to 
inbreeding and that outbreeding was necesary to keep leucistics from getting scrawny 
(said, I think, as an explanation for why his don't breed true).  Is that it or is it 
something inherent to the leucistic gene?  Does anyone know?
