Could I add that a lamp dimmer is very useful when using these clip-on lamps
to achieve the desired temperature without trying to adjust the lamp
position. There are some that sort of clip on the cord in-line. I
personally might throw out the idea that a second dimmer with a switch might
be useful so you could set the nighttime temperature and the daytime
temperature and just switch the lower temperature on and off, retaining your
settings.
