The lights I use (on Greg's recommendation long ago) only have 60W
transformers. They are definitely dimmable. I run all mine off a Helix
system with the light sensor in the window, so I get dusk/dawn
simulation. I haven't seen new ones with 120W transformers, but they
would be very welcome as I have way too many of those little
transformers! I've also found in some of the cheaper knockoffs of the
originals I bought that the transforms go flaky after a year of a little
less. I've gone ahead and bought one of those outdoor lighting 12 volt
transformers I'm going to try and use. That way I'll have one big
transformer instead of a bunch of little ones.
