I use plastic jar lids with the cardboard insert removed. Some are
deeper than others. I put in the # of mealworms I expect to be consumed
- you could add a small piece of potato peel, or apple, if you expect
that all will not be eaten. Some do escape, but they seem to hide just
under the lid and I find them when I remove the lid for the next
feeding. Petri dish halves are good because the gex can see through
them. After a few nose-bangings on the side, they get the idea to
approach from above.
