I do not keep these strange and unusual alienated
geckos, but I have heard of other people's experience
with them. Many many people have only bad things to
say about their experience. These seem to be the
Boelen's pythons of the gecko world. No one is
breeding them and they seem to die suddenly for no
apparent reason, and others die, as if in a chain
reaction. A friend of mine had something like 12 of
them and kept them for a couple of months, and then
within a 2-3 week period they all died! On the other
hand, my friend Jon has had some since October and
November and his are doing great. He has them at room
temp around 84 with a dry orchid moss bedding, with
daily mistings in an arboreal rubbermaid. His are
alive and doing well still. This species is just
unpredictable from the info I've gathered. If you are
going to keep them, good luck!
