Hello,
There are great little devices that will show you how your package has
been treated during shipping. If the box has been turned upside down
or jarred (dropped) a clear bar turns color. Speaking from experience (I used to work
for a well known shipping company), packages with these monitoring
devices get handled more gently than others. Lots of computer hardware
gets shipped with them and I have always thought they'd be great for
herps.

There are similar labels that indicate if the recommended
temperature range has been violated.
