[Gecko] OT: aquatic turtles and live plants

I'm setting up a tank for three red-eared aquatic turtles (Chrysemys scripta elegans). Having kept these turtles before I know they tend to eat/destroy whatever plants I put in with them. Any exceptions? Are there any aquatic plants they WON'T eat?
