Effectiveness of first vet visit - Zero! Sorry for the bad news. I would look in
the yellow pages for another non-domestic. You may also call the non-domestic
vets at UCD 530-752-1393 and ask for a referral.

Put fecal samples in the fridge, not the freezer, the little bad bugs will
freeze up and die in the freezer.
