I mailed the "egg box" to Cyndy in CA this morning at about 9:15 am.  Either I'm in the middle of nowhere or Cyndy is because the trip is expected to take 2 days.  I attached a fresh heatpack to the inside top of the lid.  It is a 40 hr made by Uniheat.  It seemed to take a long time to warm up but it was at least warm (80F) when i taped it to the lid.  There are still two of Lyle's heatpacks in the box (unused).  The data sheet is still in the box.  Both thermometers are taped to the bottom of the box.  I reset them and both were at about 66-67F for both in and out temps as I sealed the box.  It's a nice sunny morning at about 40F here.  The trip to the airport is about 30 miles.

I have some real geckos to ship to Arizona tonight and they will also go express mail.  However, I will drive them to the airport postal terminal myself and they will be picked up at the post office by the recipient in the morning.  My box is a little better insulated and packed but basically the methodology is the same.  With the weather like it is I have very little doubt that the geckos will do fine.
