Hi Gexers,
Just got off the phone with Bob at RLD Enterprises. He is going to
exchange the expired 60 hour heat packs for me. He wants to do some
experiments with them to see what their heat output is right now. I
opened up one of the expired 60s today, it took a few hours for it to
warm up. It is slightly warm to the touch but nowhere near the 100+ deg.
temps of a fresh one. He does have fresh 35+ hours now. He is
completely out of fresh 60 hours and will not be manufacturing them
until this September. Apparently when he sold these expired heat packs
he put in a slip of paper or verbally warned folks that they were
expired. I don't recall that in my case, but one of us may not be
remembering right, happens every day!
