You can get back issues of Dactylus and other publications like
Vivarium as well as academic journals at Bibliomania
(www.herplit.com). I've purchsed from this company several times and
have found them to be very easy to deal with - not always the case when
buying from a US vendor from outside the US.
The site also has a bibliographic search engine for herp literature.
Even for an amateur, this is a very useful starting point. People are
invited to contribute their own bibliographies to add to this database.
