Hi
I agree, and the culprits should be banned for one month. ;) JUST KIDDING
Actually this thread should continue. Its not so bad being chastised for
freeloading. I've been freeloading since my founding membership expired. So I
guess I deserve it. And to all those other freeloaders that were offended-
you're all grown up- you'll get over it. Perhaps tho, his approach was off.
We need to highlight all the things that make joining worthwhile. Works
better than scolding.
Unsubscribe for a few weeks and see how much you really miss the list. And
yes I know the list is free, but its worth $32 bucks. Not to mention its a
near instantaneous network with gecko keepers worldwide, the classifieds, the
bookstore, Geckonight........wait a minute- maybe $32 is too little!
I've always thought there should be some sort of fee for the list or maybe an
upper echelon list for members, like the Cham list has for their more
experienced keepers. I really wanted the list to be members only... but boy
did I get toasted onlist for that!
Fact is the list IS the GGA, even if its not meant to be. It's the most
visible and dynamic part of the GGA, even more so than the journal. So when
someone comments, it does reflect upon the GGA. We must also be careful that
we don't scare off prospective members.
As for me, I've been shamed enough. No more excuses, I am sending in my
$32 American asap.
Nite all
Jason
And mumia did it.
