hello all,
I was given a pair of G.vorax about a year ago, in
part because they had never shown any interest in one
another (no calling, nothing), not that they fought or
anything. Needless to say I was shocked when I found
4 eggs today.
The problem is she chose to lay them about 10 inches
into a 3', 4" diameter piece of bamboo.
In previous posts I got the impression that the eggs
were pretty hardy, but do you suppose they might make
it to term in situ? this spot is also the favorite
resting spot of the pair, and tends to be somewhat on
the warm side (75F in, 80F on top).
Any thoughts?
(ps. I do plan to become a member, just don't have the
funds quite yet)
