Hello all,
Normally I don't do this but it's a first for "us". By "us" I really mean
Dawn. My wife Dawn has been keeping my geckos, in Tampa, since I moved to
Dallas in early November. Monday I got an excited call in a tone of voice I
instantly recognized, that of a successful keeper with some unexpected
hatchlings. She found one hatchling in amongst the adults in their vivaria,
yes still intact(!), and the other egg still unhatched. How the hatchling
survived with the adults is beyond me, I've unfortunately seen first hand
how parents normally treat their young. Both have now hatched and look
(well, sound?) to be doing well.
Thought I'd write a public Thank You to an audience that would appreciate
just what it takes to have success with what could not be called an easy
gecko to breed!
Jamie
