That's a hitch for many people.  I have a friend here locally who has been 
at it longer than I have.  We hit it off years ago (1982), and he actually 
keeps a few of several of my species - basically no strings attached.  He 
knows how to care for the species by my helping him, and his experience. 
 He's lucky - retired at 50, and more time on his hands - then a hand on 
his time.  Someone like this is a MUST for anyone keeping a good number of 
gex.  I'm sure that most other members on the list would agree?  I'm also 
interested to read what other people on this list do, even if they are away 
for only a week at a time.
