I have seen various U. sikorae cages using bamboo.
They can be very attractive. Some of the tan/grey
colored bamboo can match some sikorae too. Bamboo DOES
live in Madagascar but in only small patches. It isn't
commmon anymore because the Malagasy people use it for
so many things. I'm sure they will provide a great
perching branch for at night when ambushing prey too.
