i have a tank that is 36"l,10"w and 17"t...
i plan on setting it up for a pair of flying geckos but(ehoh, its a but) a
friend is gonna make a lid for me that sits in the tanks lip and has a hinge
on the front half(feeding, etc) but the hinges are acrylic and i dont know if
a heat lamp(one strong enough to make it 85 in the tank) would melt the
hinges...
its a weird sized tank so i cant find any normal screen lids for it or
anything...
what im trying to figure out is lighting and heating for the tank that wont
melt the hinges on the lid or anything else.
also, other than the fact that crikets can chew through fiberglass window
screen is there anything else "scary" about it?
i have the tanks original florescent hood wich fits nicely on the back but
doesnt hold a heat lamp, and i dont think there are florescent that would
emit enough heat,are there?
im really bad at explaining,sorry.
