For Delta, I know of one snake breeder who uses freight. If you are not
a known shipper you are likely to get denied any kind of service. As for
USPS, I will get a firm answer on that from the industrial USPS office
I use in West Sacramento. Those folks are pros and have not steered me
wrong yet. They do lots of live animal shipping there. One time I went
there and a gentleman was shipping birds in what looked liked large
cardboard cat carriers!
