Great observations Preston!
A few of my own.... U. lineatus like roaches, especially females! Female U.
lineatus and U. sikorae spend more time oriented under the basking lite (Active
UV bulbs) than the males. Curious these female Uros in my post and the above
post see #1 more sources of calcium (snails) and #2 more full spectrum than
males. What is the difference between male and female behavior here? My guess
is greater needs for calcium metabolism due to the needs of reproduction.
