it's never easy to decide what gecko to get. I would suggest taking your
time, maybe going to a local show and see the geckos in person.

as long as she has supervision. If she is ready and your parents agree,
they are the best introduction to the gecko world. They live a long time,
so good planning helps. When she goes off to college, the gecko will still
be a young'un.
