What did the vet say about this? What is your treatment plan? Possible
causes?

Julie,

She said that she would check with a vet who does "Exotics" and get back to
me this week.  I had hoped she would have some additional info when I spoke
with her 4/13....no  :-(  I am keeping them warm (~80 F), dry, just with
water dish, infrequent misting instead of daily...??too humid??  I have begun
a temperature drop at night to 70.  They do seem to have a good appetite.

That all sounds good.

The vet did not recommend any medication.  She just recommended wait and see.
She is wondering whether her ocular observations might be associated with
the very infrequent bright red mites Pts are prone too.

Hmm!

She did not know what the possible causes might be?  Have any of your Davis
vets seen this?

I'm sure they have seen this type of condition, what your etiology is though is another question. I'm sure you could consult with them at 530-752-1393 ask for the non-domestic resident on call.
