Hi jeanna,
Your guys are a little late, I keep mine for 100 days or until they dry up or
mold over. I would not have turned the heat up. What I would do is make sure I
am using accurate thermometers by buying a good one from the Bean Farm
http://www.beanfarm.com or from Radio Shack. Once in a while it is good to put a
good one in with your old one to make sure the readings are the same. At 79F
you'll have a good long incubation period of about 75-80 days. I have my
"female" incubator set at 80F, this works well.
