This gecko is not a member of  Eublepharinae, the eyelid geckos, of which the Leopard Gecko is a member.  Note that there are no hinges at the corners of the eyes.  

I believe this is a Hemidactylus species, of which there are many.  These are commonly known as house geckos.  I believe the common name for this gecko would be the Meditaranean House Gecko.  I also think this gecko has a regenerated tail.
