Maybe its a matter of how you introduce yourself. Gerald Durrell wroe a nice
story about how he got african hunters to get him fireskinks, very dangerous
in their view. He introduced a 'potion' that would grant him immunity
against the bite of the fireskink, then let himself be bitten and when he
hadn't died overnight, gave the hunters a sip of the beverage.. and received
a lot of fireskinks..
