Here... since aol's forwarding stinks so badly... I just recopied my posting
on the drip system.... oh yeah, also, I agree that leopard gecks don't need
high humidity so this isn't necessary... but here's the info, just in case ya
need it later on...
I use the reptile watering system in my gold gecko's habitat... I make sure
that the water drips very slowly, then onto a leaf, then into a half-full
water dish. If done right, with evaporation, oversaturation of the substrate
shouldn't be a problem.
Plus they love the inside of it... it's pretty much where they spend most of
their time, when not on the side of the glass or screen top.... waiting to
see me so they can scamper as quickly as they can back inside and out of
site, that is! lol
