Hi Cassie,
yes they prefer tall. The larger the cage the more activity you will see.
They can jump nicely and giving them space will offer you the chance to
view this. make sure you quarentine them. The wild caughts almost always
are heavily infested with external red mites, in addition to the usual fun
internal parasites.
The red mites clean off with a dab of vegatable oil, but you will need time
to let eggs hatch, then clean off those that hatch. It can take several
weeks. Once cleaned up they can do very well. If you have the chance for
CB, all the easier!
