I ocassionally had this problem too, whereas the eggs where laid with
alarmingly thin shells.

I combated this by varying and uping the females' calcium intake.

I use powdered chicken eggs, other gecko eggs, bee pollen, and crushed
seashells as sources of calcium.   Raw bee pollen is enough for small species
to put on calcium sacks, quickly to I might add.  Within 24 hours of laying,
I give females as much as they will eat. This is one potent vitamin mineral
cocktail!
