Hmm. If any substrate gets really pooped up, then it will indeed smell like
ammonia. I suggest folks change their substrate when they notice that. If there
is not a lot of poop there to contribute to that and the paper towels are fresh,
you can always have a fecal done to make sure there are no problems.
