[Gecko] White-Lined gecko question

I have a quick question. I have 1.2 white-lined geckos. about 5 min ago the male was chasing one of the female all over the place and she would stop sway her tail and he would run up and like head butt her right on the side of her hear they would both stop and she would sway her tail he would go to bite it and she ran before he could bite it this went on for about 5-10 mi and im just asking if this is courtship or fighting i just dont want her to get hurt because it looks like he is hittin her kinda hard with his head. thanks in advance for any help.   PS these geckos are lightining fast i couldnt beleive my eyes!
