Michael, how would I go about gettin them to let me
do a hand on inspection? I have been attacked when just removing something from
the tank, she ran over jumped on my hand and bit me then jumped off... kinda
weird.... she has bitten me 2 times and jumped from my hand reached out to my
shoulder too (then she let me hold her!) but she is still kinda skittish as the
others are, how would i get them?

#1 when I clean tanks that have multiple animals I always house
them separately in another container. Reason is they may
fight due to stress.... wouldn't want that ....
#2 I use a 10%
clorox solution made with HOT water...smells dissipates faster and dry's
without streaking or drips.
#3 allow tank to air out and use time to do
a hands on inspection of your animals health... bump, bruises, scratches (when
maintained in groups), weight and length should be noted. I highly
stress weighing reptiles and birds as this is one of the quickest way to catch
early health problems. ( showing weight loss over a one week period could be a
sign of serious illness to comes...)

HI,
I need some help.. When I clean my
tank I transfer the geckos into a small 10 gallon tank then do what I need
to do, well I was thinking about cleaning it with them in but I want to try
this vinegar trick to get rid of all the water spot (used drinking water not
distilled but I got the right stuff now) and I don't think I could do that
with them in their and if I could I wouldn't want to make them smell that
for 30 min more or less so what's a good easy way to transfer them? I have
been using a critter keeper they don't seem to like it at all and its rather
hard to get them into it. Any suggestions??
