I haven't checked my email in a few days due to the chaos. I only got on
tonight in an attempt to "numb" my mind. The first few posts I read
we're only a reminder of the last few days' horror. But, it feels good
to read of others in the US & around the world praying for & rallying
behind us all. Though I am in FL, I attended college @ NYU and have many
friends/ family in the NY/Manhattan area. I fear that I may have lost 2
people very close to my heart in this horrible tragedy- my uncle & my
best friend, both of whom worked for a trading firm in building 1. I
urge everyone to keep praying for the victims & families of this
horrific tragedy & do all that you can do to help!!! Donate blood,
money, &/or time, PLEASE!!! Think about the 1,000's no longer with us
who can never do any of these things again! As for Bin Lauden & his
cowardice accompli, I hate to say it as I am not a violent person, but I
will rejoice in their death & hope it is a long tortuous and painful
one.
