Hello Jeff,
The gecko certainly looks like C. papilionoides. The paper describing
this gecko was published in the German journal Sauria:
Ulber, Thomas and Wolfgang Grossmann. 1991. Ein weiterer neuer Gecko
aus Zentral-Thailand: Cyrtodactylus papilionoides sp. nov. (Reptilia:
Sauria: Gekkonidae). Sauria. 13 (1):13-22.

I don't have a copy of this volume but other Sauria papers by Ulber
and Grossmann (such as their description of Gekko siamensis) include
captive care and breeding info.
I hope this helps.
