Hey John,

I know a large breeder who also got their USPS packages back this week after
being given an ok by the local USPS reps. Both he and I have set up live
shipping accounts with UPS. Apparently you must specify you are shipping live
to get the special procedures UPS uses with live...this is what the local rep
told me here. My first batch with them goes out Monday. I tried them about a
year ago and had leos arrive with dropped tails, hope that does not happen.
That means, most of the time, the boxes were handled roughly or dropped hard.
I pack a little more defensively these days too!

Airborne has really sucked in service lately so I want to avoid them if at all
possible. Not to mention their highway robbery rates!

I think, and so do other other breeders, that the days of the great service
with USPS are likely gone.
