THat's interesting.  Do you know if this work will be published?

I've wondered whether this sort of molecular phylogeny stuff is 
effective for the island Phelsuma species, because they are probably
all extreme example of 'founder effect' - i.e. each species may descend
from a single gravid female or pair of eggs, and there's no guarantee
that these 'founders' were particularly representative of their species.
In addition, with such tiny founder populations, inbreeding and genetic
drift would be extreme.

Anybody have opinions on this?
