Any ideas on how they could have contracted this "whip worm"? I looked it up in Klingenberg's 'Understanding Reptile Parasites', and can't find it - did he say what family it's in?
As far as how they got it, if they came from a pet store, I'd say that's it - not only are they exposed to other animals (some, NOT ALL, pet stores are guilty of "there's an empty tank," using the same substrate), or during shipping, they may be exposed to other animals, never mind the stress factor. Note: I said *some*, not all - there are some good petstores out there :) Barbie >^,,^< [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://members.tripod.com/barbieheid/ ########################################################################### THE GLOBAL GECKO ASSOCIATION LISTSERV WebSite: www.gekkota.com Archive: [EMAIL PROTECTED]/ The GGA takes no responsibility for the contents of these postings. ###########################################################################
