Title: Re: [Gecko] Taxonomy update
Greg,

Have there really been that many changes in the last few months?  I guess "new" is a relative term.  I just used to pay more attention to taxonomy changes than I do now, and I feel like I'm a little out of touch at the moment.  More importantly, you answered my question as to where I can find this information.  I get used to identifying a gecko by a certain scientific name for many years.  Sometimes, I still refer to the rough knob-tailed gecko by its old species name, and new gecko keepers have no idea what gecko I'm talking about.  It gets very frustrating!  Does anyone else feel this way?

Hello,

Could someone please give an update on any new taxonomy changes of geckos.

wow.... can you be more specific?

You might try just looking at the EMBL Reptile database.  It is updated with some regularity and is, in fact, what I use for a reference at the museum.
