Well, calcium deficiencies may be caused by kidney, liver and intestinal 
diseases. These affect the way in which vitamins and minerals are extracted 
from the diet and metabolized and will affect how calcium is processed in 
the body. I'll post more on this later, but now I got to run and get a hair 
cut... :)
