Briefly, a 30 gallon will work for a baby bearded dragon, but you will have to get a much bigger enclore after the dragon is 6-8 months old. My adult dragons are housed in a 5 foot by 2 foot by 2 foot enclosure. However, before getting a bearded you should read up on their requirements, they are a bit more demanding than leopard geckos.
