hello ron,

I have caught a lot of namib day geckos near
swakopmund. they have a tinge of yellow under their
tails, the babies are quite small, and they play dead
when you hold them. they are very easy to catch, you
just come to a clearing between the dunes where there
are rocks, and they are invariably there, basking.
then they run under some rocks and you watch where
they go, and then go up to the rock, put your hand
flat on the ground next to the rock, and lift up their
ock. they run for the nearest "rock" for cover, which
is your hand, you got them! they are pretty geckos
and i am also curious about their availability in the
US, and if not available why not?

tot siens,
-andy
